Welcome to Strazza-Tonoli-Emhoff Unit 26; we are happy you have visited our page. Our unit is very active in our veterans, our community, our children and we are especially proud to support our active military serving in harms way.

Our unit meets the second Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at the Post Home located at 10 Monson Road, Stafford Springs.
Some of our programs include:
Support a Stafford Soldier: We are currently serving 11 soldiers station in Iraq and Afganistan. We send regular packages to these soldiers with the comforts from home that they cannot regularly get. Our unit is working with the community so when new soldiers are deployed we can add them to our program. The Cookie Donation held on December 6th was a huge success. Please visit the Photo Gallery to take a look! Together with donations from the community, were able to send quite a few boxes which included cards and letters from the community and our Junior Auxiliary members.
Manufacturer's Coupons for Military Families: We collect and mail manufacturer coupons to military bases around the world. Last year our Unit send well over $75,000 in manufacturer's coupons to aide our military families.
We participate in the Town-sponsored ToyBox which provides needy children with holiday gifts. We donate grocery store gift cards to needy families both at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Our unit is always looking for new ideas to help any way we can in our community.
Q: I am related to someone who served on active duty during one of the membership eligibilty dates. Can I join the Auxiliary of The American Legion?
A: If your relative who served on active duty during one of the membership eligibility dates and is a member of The American Legion, you may join the American Legion Auxiliary of The American Legion.
However, if the qualifying veteran is deceased you may join the appropriate organization, even if the qualifying veteran was not a member of The American Legion when living.
